The mission of the Event Facilities Department is to provide excellent, well-maintained facilities for use by citizens and visitors.

The department is made up of four divisions: Administration, Convention Center.

ADMINISTRATION:
Administration covers the costs associated with the overall planning and management of the Department.

CONVENTION CENTER:
Convention Center includes the management, operation and maintenance of the Marshall Convention Center that host meetings, conventions and other events.

VISUAL ART CENTER
The Visual Art Center hosts numerous art events and several dinner events for area organizations. The Visual Art Center also supplies a working space for area artists to work from and showcase their wares.
